The ground water samples were sent to a California- <br /> certified laboratory and analyzed for STEX, EDC, EDB, and TPH. Results for the analyses are <br /> presented in Table 2. Laboratory reports for water analyses are included in Appendix B. <br /> As shown in Table 2,with the exception of EDC,concentrations of all constituents are below action <br /> = levels. The level reported for EDC is 7.30 parts per billion which is above the action level for that <br /> constituent. <br /> 2.0 SITE DESCRIPTQ <br /> 2.1 Area or investigation <br /> }s The site is located at 5491 "F"Street(Figure 1; at the intersection of"F"Street and Seventh in Banta, <br /> California. The site is located in a rural residential area with private residences Iocated adjacent to <br /> the property. <br /> 2.2 Site Town X and Surface Water Features <br /> Ground surface elevations across the site vary less than one foot. The regional ground surface slopes <br /> from southwest to northeast toward Tom Slough, located about 1.5 miles north of the site. <br /> �.r <br /> 2.3 Site HlstQry <br /> f From information provided from Mr.Moore,Jerry and Diane Moore purchased the property from <br /> k a Ms.Elsie Ceciliana is 1975. The site is currently leased to Moore Petroleum.Inc.and is operated as <br /> a bulk storage facility. There are nine underground storage tanks (USTs) at the site. Tank <br /> information is presented in Table 3. <br /> A precision tank test has been performed on all tanks and product lines. Results from the tank tests <br /> a indicate the tanks and lines are tight. <br /> %s 2.4 Well Inventory <br /> i , <br /> There is one known domestic well in the vicinity of the site(Figure 3). However,to more thoroughly <br /> tr. <br /> document the presence of wells near the site,a well inventory has been initiated at the Department . <br /> of Water Resources in Sacramento, California.
