soil <br /> • Collect up to six soil samples from each borehole from significan]y different lithologic units as <br /> directed by the field geologist based on CPT results. <br /> • properly package and ship samples to a state-certified Iaboratory'For analysis for chemical <br /> analysis for TPH-gas,BTEX.MTBE,TAME,DIPE,BTBE, and'1-BA. Also ship separate <br /> samples to a certified laboratory for analysis for bulk density and total organic carbon analysis. <br /> Groundwater <br /> Groundwater samples will be collected from boreholes SB-9,SB-10,and SB-11 concurrently with <br /> soil sampling. Groundwater samples will be obtained using a one-inch diameter bailer lowered inside <br /> the barrel of the soil sampling probe. Groundwater grab samples will be obtained from UP-to four <br /> depths at approximately 50, 110, 130,and 150 feet bgs from the three locations.A total of 12 samples <br /> plus 1 duplicate for QA/QC purposes will be collected,if sufficient groundwater volume can be <br /> obtained.The exact sampling depths will be selected by the field geologist based on the CYT <br /> lithologic logs. <br /> • Screen selected deeper groundwater samples using a photoionisation detector or field test kit to <br /> obtain preliminary data on TPH-gas concentrations- <br /> • Analyze for dissolved oxygen (DO) in the field. <br /> • properly package and ship samples to a state-certified laboratory for analysis for TPH-gas, <br /> BTEX, MTBE,TAME, DIPE,ETBE, and TBA.
