The placement of the four proposed ozone sparging wells are <br /> regaested to comply with mandates from the California Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board and the San Joaquin Department of Environmental Health to <br /> mitigate the migration of the hydrocarbon plume. , <br /> Directional drilling will be utilised to provide a transverse supply line fimm the <br /> treatment system(located at the farmer f W station) to the four sparging wells. <br /> No conSicts with utilities or operational improvements have been identified. <br /> Benefit to the State is realized through the documentation and identification of <br /> the contamination of State right of way from a known source, outside the right of <br /> way and a reduction of groundwater contamination. <br /> Conditions of Approval• <br /> 1. This approval does not set any precedents. <br /> 2. Applicant shall post a bond with the District Permit Branch to assure <br /> repairs to landscape, irrigation or other infrastructure damaged during <br /> the construction, access and removal of the sparging wells or borings, <br /> 3.
