Weber Ave., ThirdYloor
Stockton, CA.95201-0388
Subject: Quarterly Monitoring Report
Dear Ms. Lagorio:
Enclosed is the Quarterly'Monitoring Report for the Del Monte Disco site. These
monitoring results include two sampling and testing dates for BTEX'but only one date for
the Intrinsic Bioremediation Demonstration. As we discussed two weeks ago, the next
monitoring well sampling will occur in the middle of August (currently set for August 15)
and will include sampling for both BETX and ITB on the same day.
In past reports to Soon Kim, you requested information as to the volumes generated and
disposal of soil from monitoring well installations and purge water from sampling wells. I
have not yet found all the documentation on soil and water prior to that in drums still on
site. CuiTently, however, I have not disposed of any soil or water at the site. I do have
analysis of the seven druins of soil from boring the last two wells, SVE-3 and SVE-4, and
copies of the analytical results, dilution factors, and chain of custody are enclosed. I am in
the process of trying to obtain Del Monte, approval to use TPS Technologies for treating
the soil at their Richmond Landfill'installation.
The drums of water on site include 4 drums of condensate from the treatment system, and
8drums of purge water from monitoring well samplings. The number of drums
accumulated, analytical results, and disposition will be furnished to you in the near, future.
If you have any questions, you can reach me at 510-944-7276.
