In accordance:with your request, the low <br /> area at the old gas pump location was filled with crushed rock, crowned, and compacted to cause <br /> rainwater to run off the area on January 15, 1999. On January 31,Duane Kimball Surveying <br /> resurveyed:all the monitoring well casings. After surveying, Don Light measured the <br /> groundwater elevations of each monitoring well, and replaced several broken concrete . <br /> monitoring well boxes. <br /> The Work Plan For.Additional Field Investigations and CH2M Hill bid were submitted to the <br /> UST Fund in early December 1998 for cost pre-approval. The Fund did not approve the package <br /> because it lacked three bids. Based upon subsequent discussions with the Fund Supervisor to <br /> clarify options to meet the three-bid requirement;-I-am resubmitting the request for cost pre- <br /> approval today, February 5. 1 have attached a copy of my cover letter for your information. <br /> Next Tuesday,February 9, Don Light is scheduled to start the next round of monitoring well <br /> sampling; which normally takes two days to complete.
