The Second Quarter 2001 (July) monitoring event consisted of collection of water <br /> level measurements only.CH2M HILL is submitting this report on behalf of Del Monte.Del <br /> Monte has reviewed and approved of this report.The groundwater sample results and the <br /> groundwater flow direction continue to be consistent with.previous sampling events. <br /> Monitoring wells MW-DIS-1,MW-DIS-2,NP-1-70,-80,-90,SVE-South,and SVE-North will <br /> continue to be sampled semi-annually for TPH-gas,BTEX,1,2-DCA,and EDB. TBA has been <br /> non-detect in all wells for at least 4 quarters except SVE-North.SVE-North will continue to <br /> be sampled for TBA on a semi-annual basis. <br /> Five monitoring wells(MW-DIS-11,-12,-13,44"and-14D)were installed downgradient of <br /> the site in November 2001.An additional deep monitoring well,MW-DIS-11D is scheduled <br /> to be installed in December,2001. The downgradient wells will be sampled quarterly for a <br /> least four consecutive quarters.Results of groundwater samples collected from these wells <br /> will be reported in the Fourth Quarter 2001 monitoring report. . <br /> Note:In order to continue the accurate assessment of the groundwater flow direction, <br /> water level measurements in all wells,and evaluation of the groundwater gradient will <br /> continue to be performed on a quarterly basis. <br /> If you have any questions or comments please feel free to call me at(510) 251-2888 ext.2101, <br /> or Richard Fish at 925-944-7276. <br /> i. <br />
