First Strut <br /> Stockton CA 95206 <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) <br /> has reviewed the Quarterly Report—Julys 1998 that was submitted by Advanced <br /> G66Environmental for the.above referenced site, and has the following comments fdc: <br /> your consideration. <br /> The report documents the installation of one ground water monitoring well,on July 20; <br /> 1098, and the ground water sampling which took place on July 27, 1998. Analysis of <br /> selected soil samples from the well boring evidenced hydrocarbon contamination to 50 <br /> feet below surface grade(bsg). Analysis of the ground water sample showed <br /> hydrocarbon contamination impact to the water also, including 43 parts per billion (ppb) <br /> methyl ternary butyl ether; and 200-ppb benzene. <br /> The report recommends the continuation of quarterly ground water monitoring,with the <br /> next event scheduled for October 1998, and the installation of additionalmonitoring wells <br /> to make lateral delineation_of the dissolved hydrocarbon contamination. <br /> PHS/EHD requests that a schedule be initiated for the recommended quarterly ground <br /> water monitoring events.
