5 Request for Analyses <br /> Soil samples will be analyzed for TPH-g,TPH-d,and TPH-mo by modified EPA Method 8015 <br /> or equivalent; for VOCs(including BTEX and MTBE)by EPA Method 8260 or equivalent; and <br /> for metals, including mercury, by EPA Method 6010/7473 or equivalent. Analytical services will <br /> be provided by the EPA Region 9 laboratory or the EPA CLP laboratories. <br /> Groundwater samples and equipment rinsate blanks will be analyzed for TPH-g,TPH-d,and <br /> TPH-mo by modified EPA Method 8015 or equivalent and for VOCs(including BTEX and <br /> MTBE)by EPA Method 8260 or equivalent. Analytical services will be provided by the EPA <br /> Region 9 laboratory or the EPA CLP laboratories. <br /> Soil gas samples will be analyzed for VOCs by Method TO-15. Analytical services will be <br /> provided by the EPA Region 9 laboratory or the EPA CLP laboratories. <br /> Each soil, soil gas, and groundwater sample location with corresponding analytical requirements <br /> for each sample are presented in Tables 4, 5,and 6,respectively(Appendix B). Sample <br /> containers,preservatives,holding times,and estimated number of field samples, confirmation <br /> samples,and Quality Control samples are also summarized in Tables 4 through 6. <br /> To provide analytical quality control for the analytical program,the following measures will be <br /> utilized: <br /> • Nationally certified environmental laboratories will conduct all soil sample analyses. <br /> • Additional sample volume will be collected for at least 5%of samples per each analytical <br /> method to be utilized for matrix spike/matrix spike duplicate analysis. <br /> • Laboratory blind co-located duplicate samples or split duplicate samples will be collected <br /> from 10%of the sampling locations then submitted for soil analysis.A collocated <br /> duplicate sample is a sample that is collected adjacent to the primary sample location.A <br /> duplicate split sample is a 50/50 split of a multi-incremental sample after collection and <br /> compositing. <br /> • An equipment blank for non-dedicated equipment will be collected for each day of <br /> sampling and each type of sampling equipment used. <br /> 002693.1501.OIBR 5-1 <br /> EI CwciW No.2 <br />
