RESNA was represented <br /> by John Lane and Richard Walls. PHS/EHD was represented by Margaret Lagorio, Linda Turkatte, and <br /> Mary Meays. The purpose of the meeting was to evaluate progress and to establish schedules for future <br /> work. <br /> 2500 Navy Drive <br /> Monitoring well, MW4, was previously paved over and filled with sand. It has been recently been <br /> located, repaired, redeveloped and sampled. PHS/EHD requested an additional round of quarterly <br /> sampling and gradient determination prior to evaluating the site for closure. All four monitoring <br /> wells are scheduled for sampling on December 28, 1992. The quarterly report should be submitted <br /> by February 1993 and may include a request for closure and a site history summarizing analytical <br /> results. <br /> 22 Bast Market <br /> Residual contamination was documented following the re-excavation which was initiated on July <br /> 23, 1992. PHS/EHD requested additional investigation to determine the extent of residual <br /> contamination. Rather than begin investigation immediately, the COS will proceed with plans to <br /> remove the three existing underground storage tanks and replace the tanks with two aboveground <br /> storage tanks. Aboveground storage tanks are anticipated to be installed by June 1993 and the <br /> underground storage tanks removed by September 1993. Investigation will proceed following the <br /> removal of underground storage tanks. <br /> The existing monitoring well will continue to be sampled and monitored for the presence of <br /> petroleum hydrocarbon, at a reduced frequency. Sampling events will be scheduled in January <br /> 1993 and June 1993. Quarterly reporting will continue.
