The samples from this project were analyzed by EPA
Method 8015/8020 for Low to Medium Boiling Point Hydrocarbons with
a BTEX Distinction and by EPA Method 8015 for High Boiling Point
Hydrocarbons.
A review of the chromatograms for both analyses indicates that
samples MW3 and MW4 contain diesel fuel contamination. However,
because of the overlap between the gas range and the diesel range,
it is not unusual that a high level of diesel contamination will
generate a positive result when examining the gas range. Samples
MW3 and MW4 did have positive results in the Low to Medium Boiling
Point Hydrocarbon analysis, but they can be accounted for by the
diesel contamination.
If you have any questions or need any further information, please
contact me.
Very truly yours,
SEQUOIA ANALYTICAL - -
zabeth Hac 1
r ject Manager
i
