Allen, Director of Municipal Utilities <br /> SUBJECT: REPLACING DIESEL STORAGE TANKS AT PUMP STATIONS <br /> I am proposing to replace below ground diesel storage tanks with <br /> above ground storage tanks at all of the pump stations . I am also <br />( considering replacing the two below ground waste oil storage tanks , <br /> although the need to have gravity drainage into the tanks will <br /> probably preclude using above ground tanks . My intention is to <br /> t replace all these tanks before they become problems such as the <br /> diesel tank removed from our main plant . <br /> Attached a is of list of the sites with underground tanks . After you <br /> have had an opportunity to review the list , Jeff Cameron of my staff <br /> will contact you to arrange for a meeting to discdss how we should <br /> proceed to accomplish our goal. Once we have determined what steps <br /> are required, we can estimate the cost to replace each tank and <br /> establish a schedule for replacement .
