25 April 2000 <br /> AGE-NC Project No. 95-0143 <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br /> • Total lead by EPA Method 6010. <br /> Soil samples collected from boring 16B-7 and both grab water samples will also be analyzed for: <br /> • Volatile organic compounds by EPA Method 8260. <br /> Laboratory reports for soil analyses, testing methods, laboratory quality assurance/quality control <br /> (QA/QC) reports, and sample chain-of-custody documentation will be presented in a report with <br /> findings. <br /> 3.5. REPORT PREPARATION <br /> Upon completion of field work and receipt of final laboratory analysis, a report will be prepared <br /> presenting the findings of the investigation. The report will include a description of the work <br /> performed and results of the sampling and analysis. Conclusions and applicable recommendations, <br /> will be included in the report. The report will be in a format acceptable to the PHS-EHD and the <br /> CVRWQCB, and will be reviewed and signed by a California Registered Geologist. <br /> 4.0. FIELD PROCEDURES <br /> All field procedures will be overseen by an AGE representative under the supervision of a California <br /> Registered Geologist. Procedures for the advancement of borings, soil sampling, ground water <br /> sampling, equipment decontamination and sample shipment are outlined below. Additional quality <br /> assurance/quality control(QA/QC)procedures may also be performed to satisfy DTSC requirements. <br /> 4.1. PROBE BORING ADVANCEMENT <br /> Probe borings will be advanced using a van-mounted Geoprobe 5400 direct-push probing unit <br /> equipped with 1.25-inch probing rods. The Geoprobe advances soil probe borings using a hydraulic <br /> hammer to drive soil sampling tools to specified depths. <br /> 4.2. SOIL SAMPLE COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS <br /> Soil borings will be sampled at depths of 6, 10 and 15 feet bsg using a 1.125' Geoprobe soil <br /> sampling assembly loaded with four six-inch brass sleeves.
