II .
N
f
September 1 , 1987
0901GREE
AGS Job # 8696 - 3
Page 2
The " preprogrammed standards " referred to are samples of ultra
pure air and hydrocarbon gas of known concentrations in air ,
which are run as standards and blanks during field work on site .
Air quality and discharge permits will be applied for when
sufficient data is available to determine acceptable methods of
operation and specification .
We anticipate a time schedule for future work as follows :
1 . Vapor probe survey as soon as possible once permission
to conduct survey is clearly obtained .
2 . Within two to three weeks of completion of the vapor
probe survey , additional drilling will take place given
permits to do so from the San Joaquin Local Health
District . As part of the drilling and well development
phase , one or more pump tests will be performed
allowing us to characterize the waste stream for the
sewer and air quality permit acquisition process . As
part of this phase , we would like to install the
proposed vapor extraction and vent wells earlier
defined . Data from these wells would be helpful in
providing data for permit acquisition .
3 . A report summarizing the data obtained to date and
presenting plans for the final mitigation plan will be
presented to Crystal Cream and Butter and the
regulatory agencies approximately six weeks or less
after initiation of the vapor probe study .
4 . Final installation of the system and system operation
will proceed as soon as approval is granted by the
appropriate regulatory and permitting agencies .
I
AA,o/ied GeoSyStemS
