Install 10 ozone injection <br /> kpoints, related plumbing, and ozone generation and injection apparatus. <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS: <br /> • San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (1 H ) approves this work plan <br /> addendum as a pilot study of the effectiveness of the ozone injection remediation system. <br /> Installation of the ozone injection system does not supersede the vapor extraction system <br /> proposal dated August 31, 2001 previously approved by EHD. Installation of the vapor <br /> extraction system may be required in the future if the ozone injection system is detemrined to be <br /> ineffective or insufficient in bringing down the contamination concentration to a level acceptable <br /> for closure. <br /> • Monitor potential byproduct of bromate as a result of ozone injection.
