The purpose of our work was to evaluate the site for possible remediation and to <br /> further evaluate groundwater quality northeasterly of the site. The scope of the <br /> remediation pilot testing included completing a soil vapor extraction pilot test followed <br /> by a groundwater sparging pilot test. The scope of the additional phase II investigation <br /> included drilling three soil borings, collecting and analyzing water samples from each, <br /> then converting one boring to a small-diameter monitoring well. For simplicity,we have <br /> broken out the two phases of work below. <br /> Vapor ExtractionlSparging Pilot Test <br /> CORPORATE OFFICE A vapor extraction pilot test was performed at the site on February 2, 2000. The pilot <br /> 3050 hiclustrial Blvd. test was conducted in accordance with the guidelines and requirements of the San <br /> West Sacramento <br /> CA 95691 Joaquin Environmental Health Services (SCEHS)and San Joaquin Valley Unified Air <br /> Fel 916.372.1434 pollution Control District(SJVUAPCD).
