INTRODUCTION <br /> Our office has been retained by Tetra Diamond, Inc . , to <br /> perform a soil suitability study for their property located at <br /> 10093 Liberty Rd , Galt , California. The purpose of the study is <br /> to determine the suitability of the property for septic tank usage. <br /> The study was performed according to the requirements of Section <br /> 9-10100 ( c ) of San Joaquin County Ordinances . This report presents <br /> the results of our study. <br /> II . PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> The area where the property is located is currently zoned AL- <br /> 10 , for limited agricultural use . The subject Tetra Diamond, Inc . <br /> property consist of a 20 . 41 acre parcel that is approximately <br /> rectangular in shape with a section missing out of the NE corner . <br /> It is proposed to split off the eastern half , so that a new 10 acre <br /> parcel will be formed ( see Tentative Parcel Map in the Appendix ) , <br /> leaving a remaining 10 acre parcel on the west . The new 10 acre <br /> parcel may be sold as a home site . No sale or development of the <br /> remaining parcel is pla ed at this time , although such activity is <br /> not precluded for some future date . <br /> III . PRESENT AND PAST USE OF THE SITE <br /> The subject property was purchased in 1979 by Tetra Diamond , <br /> Inc . Past history indicates that the subject property has been <br /> used for the last 50 years as pasture or farmed with field crops , <br /> such as corn and wheat . The property is presently idle , with the <br /> last crop, oat hay, being farmed in 1989 . <br /> 1 <br />
