This property and the surrounding
area is zoned GA-40 (Agricultural) . The topography of this location is very
flat with a gradient of approximately 0.0033, sloping northeast to southwest.
There are no waterways or drainage channels crossing the property; however,
there are irrigation pipelines operated by the South San Joaquin Irrigation
District which cross the property. The topographic soils map prepared by the
United States Soil Conservation Service indicates the site is largely covered by
Delhi loamy sand. For many years, the subject property has been planted to
almonds. The latest San Joaquin County Water Conservation District maps reveal
the standing water level of the subject site to be at a depth of approximately
28 feet. This relates to a groundwater elevation of approximately 35 feet.
Attached is a copy of a percolation test performed on July 26, 1990 by
R. W. Siegfried & Associates, Consulting Civil Engineers. This test hole
reveals that the sandy surface soils are underlain by sandy soils at a depth of
approximately three (3') feet. The observed percolation rate was 6.0 minutes
per inch.
(Cont'd.)
MAIN OFFICE 4045 CORONADO AVENUE STOCKTON,CALIFORNIA 952042396 Telephone(209)9432021 FAX Telephone(209)942.0214
TRACY BRANCH OFFICE 3120 TRACY BOULEVARD,SUITE D TRACY,CALIFORNIA 95376.1719 Telephone(209)835-5300
