E . # 11584 418 Matthew Plaza Lodi , California 95240 Phone: (209) 368-4159 San Joaquin County Public Health Service Environmental Health Division Subject : Soil Suitability Study on the Delbert Barrow property consisting of subdividing a 4 . 04 acre parcel into two parcels , Parcel No. 1 being 2 . 02 acres as well as Parcel No. 2 being 2 . 02 acres . Parcel No . 1 contains an existing homesite and Parcel No . 2 is separated out for a new homesite. Submitted for your review and consideration are the results of Soil Profile and Percolation tests conducted on the Delbert Barrow property located at 23597 South Hensen Road, Tracy , California. Existing Septic System: Existing San Joaquin County records were reviewed for the subject property as well as the area in the immediate vicinity of the subject property . No permit was found for the subject property . Five permits were studied for other properties in the general area. All of the noted facilities were leech line installations . No failures or repairs were noted on these facilities since their installation . Existing Land Use : The land surrounding the two subject parcels has generally been converted into homesites , but there is some area to the west presently devoted to agricultural pursuit . Presently, Parcel No . 2 is devoted to agriculture use . Soil Profile Test : Excavation to a depth of ten ( 10) feet was performed for the Soil Profile investigation on parcel No . 2 at the location shown on the attached Parcel Map . Two basic soil layers were found in excavating to the 10-foot depth on Parcel No . 2 . The first layer is a grey adobe material to a depth of about two ( 2) feet below the 2 Delbert Barrow
