KLEINFELDER
File No. 20-3363-01
July 26, 1990 _
ft
RhUEIVEU
J u L 3 0 1990
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH
PERMIT/SERVICES
Reference is made to Plate I of this report which shows
the location of the subject property. Currently, the
only residences located within approximately 1 mile of
the property are the Zicari residence and a trailer home,
both of which are on the property. The property consists
of low hills and valleys covered with dry weeds and
grasses.
On June 28 , 1990, a representative of our firm visited
the residence and trailer located on the property to
obtain information on septic system use and to inquire
about any problems known to exist with this method of
sewage disposal. The residence and trailer each had a
separate septic system, approximately 10 years old. No
problems were reported with the system for the residence.
The leach field for the trailer is located in a low area
that was reported to be underlain by "hardpan" at
approximately 2 feet deep. During the rainy season, we
understand water stands on the surface and the system
backs up. No problems were reported during the remainder
of the year.
ITEM C-2•
"Suitability of soil for development utilizing septic systems. "
On July 9, 1990, representatives of our firm drilled and
set-up 1 3-foot deep, 1 8 to 10-foot deep, and 1 15-foot
deep percolation test hole on each proposed parcel. The
test holes were drilled with a truck-mounted drill rig
2
