Fremont St. <br /> Stockton , CA 95201 <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed Soil <br /> Vapor Extraction/In-Situ Air Sparging Pilot Study Work Plan (WP) dated November 29 , <br /> 2009, prepared by your consultant, Advanced Geo Environmental , Inc. (AGE). The WP <br /> was prepared in response to the EHD directive letter dated July 22 , 2009 . <br /> In the WP, AGE proposes to install an in-situ air sparging (IAS) well , IAS- 1 , to be used <br /> for a 72-hour IAS and soil vapor extraction (SVE) pilot test. Vapor well VW- 1 is proposed <br /> to be used for the SVE pilot test and selected wells are proposed to be used as <br /> observation wells . The EHD approves of the proposed work as necessary and adequate <br /> [CA H&S Code, 25296 . 10 (c)(3)] . <br /> Submit to the EHD the necessary well permit applications , the $89. 00 permit fee and the <br /> $345. 00 inspection fee. Once the well permits have been approved , notify EHD of the <br /> proposed schedule for the work. The EHD requires a minimum 48-hour notice prior to <br /> initiation of any field work on the site. The EHD directs that the proposed work be <br /> implemented by May 9, 2010.
