Discuss conclusions regarding public and environmental
health risks as they relate to the pumping influence of these identified wells. Evaluate the
potential for migration of the contaminant plume and any impact on the identified wells
j and conduits .
Additional MWs may need to be constructed at this site to evaluate groundwater
contamination. A Work Plan to define the lateral and vertical extent of contamination
and further evaluate the groundwater at this site should be submitted to PHS/EHD by
December 22 , 1999 .
Quarterly monitoring of the groundwater at this site should continue until otherwise
instructed by PHS/EHD. Groundwater should be analyzed for BTEX and TPHg using
EPA Method 8020 and MTBE using EPA Method 8260.
When the contaminant plume has been defined, feasibility tests should be conducted in
order to compare at least two different remediation alternatives.
