The EHD received the executive summary from your <br /> i consulting firm , Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE), on 02 March 2012 and posted it <br /> and a public notification on 28 March 2012. The public had thirty days to respond . Having <br /> received no response from the public, the EHD is proceeding with its approval of the work <br /> plan. <br /> In the work plan , AGE proposes to install and operate a soil vapor extraction (SVE)/in-situ air <br /> sparge (IAS) system to remediate the soil and groundwater petroleum hydrocarbon <br /> contamination that resulted from an unauthorized release from the former underground <br /> storage tank (UST) system . AGE proposes to install one additional SVE well , screened <br /> between 5 and 15 feet below surface grade (bsg), and four additional IAS wells, screened <br /> between 23 and 25 feet bsg . <br /> The EHD approves the work plan as submitted. Please submit a permit application for the <br /> additional wells, along with the Master File Record form and permit/inspection fee of <br /> $ 1 , 000.00 and have the SVE/IAS in operation by 01 August 2012.
