The scope of work included the installation of soil vapor <br /> extraction wells, a ground water extraction well, two observation wells, and a feasibility pilot study <br /> for soil vapor extraction and ground water extraction remediation. <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) letter dated 26 September 2007, <br /> directed an addendum to the work plan by submitted to their office. As stated in the phone <br /> conversation of 28 September 2007 and two electronic mail items sent to your office, the ground <br /> water feasibility observation wells should be screened through the sand unit at the site ( 15-35 feet), <br /> additionally the EHD has directed the installation of separate, shallow shot screened, soil vapor <br /> extraction observation wells. Additionally AGE has attached the CPT graphical log and Cross <br /> section to support this well screen. The locations of the wells are at borings P5 and P6 located at <br /> 15 feet and 30 feet away from the proposed extraction points. <br /> AGE proposes to install four separate wells for the soil vapor extraction (S V E) pilot test and ground <br /> water feasibility test; screened from a depth of 5 feet to 15 feed for two SVE observation wells and <br /> screened from a depth of 15 feet to 35 feet for two groundwater extraction observat � '( s.
