Reference is made to our <br /> septic system suitability study report dated August 16, 1991, which <br /> was prepared for the subject project. <br /> The water samples were collected on August 7 , 1991, and were <br /> analyzed for nitrate and DBCP, as noted in our referenced report. <br /> The well water data reported is limited to the analyses of one <br /> sample for nitrate and one sample for DBCP. <br /> The analytical results report nitrate at 68 mg/1, and DBCP was not <br /> detected to the minimum detection limit noted. Please contact the <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Services division to obtain <br /> information regarding the potential health effects associated with <br /> the reported concentration of nitrate in your well water. <br /> Kleinfelder, Inc. performed the scope of work in accordance with <br /> generally accepted standards of care existing in San Joaquin County <br /> at the time of the study and in accordance with our proposal dated <br /> July 17, 1991. The water samples were obtained as directed by San <br /> Joaquin County in their "Conditions of Approval.
