' Quarterly Report - Second Quarter 2005
GUARDINO AND CRAWFORD
' 517 West Fremont Street, Stockton, California
' 1.0. INTRODUCTION
At the request of Dave and Pat Guardino of Guardino and Crawford Construction, Advanced
' GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE)has prepared this Quarterly Report- Second Quarter 2005 for the
Property located at 517 West Fremont Street, Stockton,California(site) The scope of work included
the performance of a quarterly ground water monitoring event, submission of monitoring and
' analytical data to the State Water Resources Control Board's GeoTracker information management
system, and preparation of this report The site and surrounding area are illustrated on Figure 1
' Structures, soil borings, and monitoring well locations are illustrated on Figure 2 Additional site
background information is provided in Appendix A
2.0. PROCEDURES
Field work was conducted in accordance with guidelines issued by the Central Valley Regional
Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB)for the investigation of underground storage tank(UST)
sites and San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)guidelines for the sampling
' . of ground water monitoring wells
21 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION
On 29 June 2005, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water to the
nearest 0 01-inch in monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-8 relative to the tops of the well casings
The ground water elevations and gradient were determined from these data(Table 1) After recording
water level measurements, dedicated disposable plastic bailers were used to evacuate (purge)
' monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-8 of standing water Approximately 5 to 9 gallons of water
(equivalent to three casing-water volumes per well)were removed from wells MW-1 through MW-8
rGround water temperature,pH,and conductivity were measured for stabilization at regular intervals
during purging using an Oakton water analyzer Purged water was stored on-site in properly labeled,
' Department of Transportation (DOT)-approved 55-gallon drums pending proper disposal Field
sheets and data are included in Appendix B
22 COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES- m-
Prior to collection of ground water samples, the depth to ground water was re-measured in each
purged well to ensure that a minimum 80%of the initial well volume had recharged A ground water
• sample was collected from each purged well using the dedicated disposable plastic bailers Each
' Advanced GeoEnvironmentai,Inc
