INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Dave and Pat Guardlno of Guardino and Crawford Construction, Advanced <br /> GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this Quarterly Report - First Quarter 2005 for the <br /> property located at 517 West Fremont Street,Stockton,California(site) The scope of work included <br /> the performance of a quarterly ground water monitoring event, submission of monitoring and <br /> ' analytical data to the State Water Resources Control Board's GeoTracker information management <br /> system, and preparation of this report The site and surrounding area are Illustrated on Figure 1 <br /> ' Structures, soil borings, and monitoring well locations are illustrated on Figure 2 Additional site <br /> background Information is provided in Appendix A <br /> ' 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> Field work was conducted in accordance with guidelines issued by the Central Valley Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB)for the investigation of underground storage tank(UST) <br /> sites and San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)guidelines for the sampling <br /> ' of ground water monitoring wells <br /> ' 21 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br /> On 25 March 2005,a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water to the <br /> ' nearest 0 01-inch in monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-8 relative to the tops of the well casings <br /> The ground water elevations and gradient were determined from these data(Table 1) After recording <br /> water level measurements, dedicated disposable plastic bailers were used to evacuate (purge) <br /> ' monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-8 of standing water Approximately 4 5 to 9 5 gallons of water <br /> (equivalent to three casing-water volumes per well)were removed from wells MW-1 through MW-8 <br /> ' Ground water temperature,pH,and conductivity were measured for stabilization at regular intervals <br /> during purging using an Oakton water analyzer Purged water was stored on-site in properly labeled, <br /> ' Department of Transportation (DOT)-approved 55-gallon drums pending proper disposal Field <br /> sheets and data are Included in Appendix B <br /> ' 2 2- COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> Prior to collection of ground water samples, the depth to ground water was re-measured in each <br /> purged well to ensure that a minimum 80%of the initial well volume had recharged A ground water <br /> . sample was collected from each purged well using the dedicated disposable plastic bailers Each <br /> ' Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> 1 <br />
