(GHH) is currently providing Colberg Boat.Works (Colberg) with <br /> professional environmental services for their site located at 401 North Stockton Street;` <br /> Stockton;;;California, as shown on Figures 1 and 2. Ms. Lynn Swanson of Colberg has <br /> authorized'GHH to prepare this Well Abandonment Report for submittal to the San Joaquin <br /> 04. <br /> County Environmental Health Division (County), the lead agency overseeing environmental <br /> issues at the site. <br /> On August''h, 2003, all monitoring wells on the site were properly abandoned in accordance <br /> with Coun't'y' requirements. Monitoring wells MW-1 and MW-3 were overdrilled and grouted <br /> using trem';nie pipe. Monitoring wells MW-2, MW-4, MW-5, and MW-6 were pressure <br /> grouted. Mx. Jeffrey Wong, of the County was on-site to observe the abandonment. <br /> Soil cuttings and well casings from MW-1 and MW-3 were placed in two Department of' . <br /> Transportation (DOT) approved 55-gallon drums and stored on-site pending laboratory analyses <br /> and selection of appropriate disposal location. GHH collected'a composite sample of the soil <br /> cuttings and had it analyzed by SunStar Laboratories. Inc. a California certified laboratory for <br /> total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH G),benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes <br /> TE <br /> hydrocarbons <br /> and the fuel oxygenates MTBE, DIPE, ETBE, TAME, and TBA using EPA methods <br /> 8015M aria} 826013, respectively.
