CHRONOLOGY <br /> VALLEY SHOWCASE <br /> 913 WEST FREMONT ST. <br /> STOCKTON, CA 95203 <br /> APN:135-450-22 <br /> 01/13/88 unauthorized Release Report WAR) filed as a result of the <br /> failed tank precision test <br /> 02/11/88 One 500 gallon suction gasoline tank (no State ID) was <br /> removed and transported to Schnitzer Steel Products at 12000 <br /> Folsom Blvd. , Rancho Cordova, CA. Excavated soil was <br /> returned to the tank pit. <br /> 05/05/88 Analytical results of soil samples collected at the time of <br /> the tank removal indicated contamination in soil and <br /> potential impact to groundwater. <br /> 06/10/88 UAR was filed based on contaminated sail sample results. <br /> 10/18/93 Environmental Health Department (EHD) letter to responsible <br /> party (RP) George Lechich, etal requested additional <br /> investigation and remediation of the contamination. <br /> 12/93 Work plan for installation of monitoring wells. The work <br /> plan contained a limited description of nearby wells. <br /> 01/19/94 Official Notice of Reimbursement was sent to RP. Site was <br /> entered into Local Oversight Program (LOP) . <br /> 02/28/94 Installation of Monitoring Wells MW-1 to MW-3 began. <br /> Installation was completed in March 1994 . Wells were <br /> screened from 15 feet below surface grade (bsg) to 30 feet <br /> bsg. Results of the deepest soil sample collected from MW-2 <br /> at 20 feet and 25 feet bsg were non-detect for Total <br /> Petroleum Hydrocarbon as gasoline(TPH-g) . Depth to <br /> groundwater (DTW) rose above the top of the screen interval <br /> one month later and never returned to within the screened <br /> section of the three wells. <br /> 05/05/94 Received Site Assessment Report (SAR) dated April 1994 <br /> prepared by Wm. J. Hunter & Associates. <br /> 12/20/94 108 yards of impacted soil from the former tank excavation <br /> was overexcavated by Jim Thorpe oil Co. , Inc. Soil was <br /> stockpiled on lot behind site. Pea gravel was used for <br /> backfill. <br /> 01/24/95 Stockpile transported to Forward Landfill, 9999 South Austin <br /> Road, Manteca, CA 95336. Highest stockpile sample results <br /> were 800 mg/kg of TPH-g. <br /> 03/27/95 Received Interim Assessment Report (IAR) dated March 1995 <br /> prepared by Wm. J. Hunter & Associates. <br /> 11/27/95 11 geoprobe borings were advanced on and off site to define <br /> the lateral extent of contamination. Soil samples were <br /> collected at 10 feet bsg, and grab water samples were <br /> collected at varying depths of 13, 15, 17, and 24 feet bsg. <br /> Analytical results indicated limited contamination in soil <br /> and in groundwater in the northeast downgradient direction. <br />
