The work was
performed on March 28, 1995 by Dei-Tech Geotechnical Support
Services as directed by our office .
The attached PLATE I shows the direction of the groundwater
gradient indicated by the five (5) measurements taken to date .
The data continues to show the hydraulic gradient is to the
north; the 3/28/95 gradient is essentially identical to that
measured in December, 1994 .
The results of the laboratory anayzes of water samples collected
since monitoring began are shown on TABLE I . To date, neither
BTEX or TPH-G have been detected in water samples from MW-1 or
MW-3 . MW-2 , directly downgradient from the site of the removed
UST, stall shows significant levels of BTEX & TPH-G. In fact,
the levels have increased since the last measurement, probably
due primarily to the rise in water level since that time .
The water table has risen slightly over 6 feet since the December
measurement . This is consistant with the general rise of water
levels in the Stockton area, which is due to the extremely high
rainfall this year.
ONCLUSIONS :
Based upon the data collected to date, the following conclusions
appear valid:
1 . MW-1 & MW-3 indicate that the limits of the plume have been
defined to the east, south, & west of the UST site .
2 . MW-2 , located in a downgradient position, confirms that the
1
