concentration in the soils, thus theoretically promoting denitrification. This may also reduce the
current nitrate-nitrogen soil concentration of 18 ppm.
The septic tank and filter bed must be barricaded so that it cannot be driven over or parked on.
As the engineer-of-record for this portion of the project, I will be working directly with the septic
system contractor to ensure the system is installed per the above-referenced specifications.
VI. LIMITATIONS
The findings, opinions, calculations and conclusions of this Report are based upon information from
standard engineering and analytical test procedures, contemporary scientific literature and agency
consultations. Information used in these Studies is deemed reliable by the sources from where it was
obtained. Results of the percolation testing should be assumed to only represent the subsurface
conditions encountered in the specific area of testing and not of the entire subject Parcel or other areas
that may be allocated for future wastewater disposal.
These Studies are based upon current scientific knowledge to assess factors which are extremely
variable and complex within the environment. Although there are several methods to predict
environmental impact from a septic system, San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
Onsite Wastewater Treatment System Standards and requirements have been employed for these
purposes, and for this project. Therefore, no guarantee or warranty is expressed or implied concerning
any aspect of this Study, or the prevention of environmental impact. This Report is not to be used, in
whole or in part, by any private or public entity for any subsequent studies or reporting on the subject
property without the expressed written consent of the author of these Studies.
NLS§ 5.1, SSS§ 7.1.
Respectfully submitted,
CHESNEY CONSULTING
.... r ofess (
seS D Ches,
No. 75479
4:bo
acj..,.
rs
Irtri;pt Civil 4.,\"""
(31.
Don Che ey, PE/CC
Registered Civil Engineer #C75479
Certified Crop Advisor/CA Registered Nitrogen Management Specialist #341829
Page -8-
Chesney Consulting
