• APPENDIX A
RIVER CITY PETROLEUM AND CONNELL MOTOR LIFT TRUCK
2211 North Wilson Way, Stockton, California
SITE HISTORY
AGE researched the site history, conducted a review of available historical public records and
interviewed current land owner and representatives during the course of a Phase I Environmental Site
Assessment for a real estate evaluation in April 1999. The history of the parcel of interest was
derived from the Phase I research.
SITE DESCRIPTION
The site is at 2211 North Wilson Way, Stockton,California(Figure 1)on the west of North Wilson
Way(Figure 2). Parcel APN No. 117-150-031 is the focus of this investigation. The site is located
at an elevation of approximately 20 feet above mean sea level in an area of low topographic relief.
Approximately 90%of the surface of the site is covered by asphalt, concrete or structures(Figure 2).
The building occupying the site is a large warehouse/truck bay-style building with a canopy
extending over two abandoned fuel dispenser islands.
• GROUND WATER DEPTH, ELEVATION AND GRADIENT
According to the map titled Lines Of Equal Depth Of Water Wells-Fall 1999, published by the San
Joaquin County Flood Control and Water Conservation District, the estimated depth to ground water
at the property is approximately 40 to 50 feet below surface grade(bsg). Based on well-water depth
measurements collected from the site, the ground water table at the site currently occurs between 50
feet and 60 feet bsg;the depth to ground water has been reported to be as shallow as 35 feet bsg.The
ground water depth in March 2004 was 50 feet bsg.The general ground water gradient at the site was
directed northeast to east. The nearest surface water feature in the vicinity of the property is the
Stockton Diverting Channel, approximately 2,800 feet north of the site. The ground water flow
direction at the site has been primarily northeast, however, variability in the flow direction has shown
western and northwestern directions, with atypical gradient of 0.001 ft/ft.
One domestic ground water well is located on the property. This well is located approximately 350
feet north of the UST release area. The well is reportedly screened from approximately 150 feet bsg
to the total depth of the water well. Analytical analysis of the water samples collected directly from
the well head have been non-detect for the chemicals of concern.
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.
