SMTH <br /> ENIRRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGIES CORPOPATiOFI <br /> SUMMARY REPORT <br /> LIMITED ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT <br /> Ascheman Property <br /> 2214 Robindale Avenue <br /> Stockton, California <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> This report is submitted on behalf of Mr. and Mrs. Bernhardt and Betty Ascheman (property <br /> owners) to summarize field methods and analytical results of a limited environmental <br /> assessment performed at the subject property. The environmental assessment was conducted <br /> pursuant to correspondence from San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental <br /> Health Division (PHS/EHD) dated January 6, 1992. Smith Environmental Technologies <br /> Corporation (Smith Environmental) was contracted by the property owners to complete the <br /> limited environmental assessment to enable the property owners to obtain site closure <br /> certification. <br /> 2.0 SITE BACKGROUND <br /> The site is located on relatively level terrain in an industrial area of the northwestern portion of <br /> Stockton, California. The site location is shown on Figure 1. <br /> A 2000 gallon underground leaded gasoline storage tank was removed from the site in <br /> December 1988. A generalized site plan showing the location of the former underground fuel <br /> storage tank is shown on Figure 2. <br /> The site was excavated to a depth of approximately 14 feet below grade.
