He has the authority to provide for the <br /> auditing of compliance with the provisions of this SSP, suspend or modify work practices, and to recommend <br /> disciplinary action for individuals whose conduct does not meet the provisions presented in this SSP. The <br /> Project Manager is also responsible for ensuring that Medical Surveillance Exams and Training Programs <br /> are current for all personnel working on-site. The Project Manager reports to the Branch Safety Officer. <br /> SITE SAFETY OFFICER: Tom Lutterman <br /> The SSO is responsible for the dissemination of the information contained in this SSP to all SMTH personnel <br /> working at the job site,and to the responsible representative(s) of each subcontractor firm working for SMTH <br /> at the job site. The SSO is responsible for ensuring the following items are adequately addressed: Safety <br /> Supplies andEquipment Inventory;Accident/Incident Reporting Procedures;Decontamination/Contamination <br /> Reduction Procedures; General Safe Work Practices. <br /> The SSO has the authority to suspend work anytime she/he determines the safety provisions set-forth in this <br /> SSP are inadequate to ensure worker safety. The SSO shall also inform the Project Manager of individuals <br /> whose conduct does not meet the safety provisions of this SSP. The Site Safety Officer reports to the Project <br /> Manager.
