Hazelton Avenue <br /> Fontana, CA 92335 <br /> Re: XTRA Lease LLC <br /> 4124 Cherokee Road <br /> Stockton, CA 91525 <br /> To Whom it May Concern, <br /> XTRA Lease LLC ("XTRA") is the leading provider of over-the-road trailers for <br /> rent and lease in the United States. With more than 50 locations, XTRA offers a fleet of <br /> about 80,000 trailers for rent and lease, including dry vans, reefers, local cartage vans, <br /> storage trailers, and specialty equipment (flat beds, extendable flatbeds, single drop <br /> flatbeds,double drop flatbeds, and chassis). See attached equipment list. The <br /> predominant trailer in our fleet is a 53-foot dry van. For comparison purposes, think of <br /> XTRA as"Hertz Rent a Car" for semi-trailers instead of automobiles. <br /> XTRA currently operates a branch facility for the Stockton market at 755 E. Roth <br /> Road, Lathrop, California. The subject Cherokee Road facility will supplement our E. <br /> Roth Road facility. XTRA's primary business at both facilities is to rent and lease the <br /> branch's semi-trailers to third party customers. In support of this activity at both branch <br /> facilities,XTRA will engage in preventative maintenance of the trailer fleet and the sale <br /> of used trailers to third party purchasers. The existing E. Roth Road facility experiences <br /> around 18 trailer trips per day. We anticipate 15-25 trailer trips per day at the Cherokee <br /> Road facility. XTRA is not a trucking company, we do not store, haul or break freight. <br /> There will be no loading or unloading of trailers on site or in the public right-of-way. All <br /> trailers on site are empty. There will be no display area for trailers. <br /> XTRA's branch operates from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. A <br /> staff of 7-10 employees will work between the two facilities. We anticipate having 4 to 6 <br /> employees working at the Cherokee Road facility.
