Lower Sacramento Rd, Lodi
APN 058-070-23, SR0081206
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed the Soil
Suitability/Nitrate Loading (SSNL) Study, dated July 1, 2019 and submitted on September 26, 2019
for the above noted location and has the following comments for your consideration.
The SSNL was prepared to determine the suitability of the above noted parcel for onsite wastewater
treatment system (OWTS) usage and the potential impact of nitrate to groundwater for the proposed
development project. The proposed development project includes:
1. Expanding the existing religious assembly by addition of 4,680 square foot to the existing
worship building, and the construction of a 640 square foot storage building on 18.54 acres
parcel.
2. The OWTS usage with average daily flow of 1,219.5 gallons per day from the following
activities:
1) Wastewater generated from existing 4-bedrooms residence.
2) Wastewater generated from two volunteers daily.
3) Wastewater generated from 50 congregants daily.
4) Wastewater generated from 249 congregants weekly.
5) Wastewater generated from 450 participants from weddings, funerals and festivals 4 times
a year.
Based on the information provided, the EHD finds that the SSNL Study supports the suitability for
standard OWTS usage on existing parcels, pursuant to San Joaquin County Ordinance Code Title
9, Section 9-1105.2(d), provided all existing OWTS and 100% replacement areas can meet all
minimum setback requirements from any water wells.
Any changes to this development project or OWTS usage as mentioned above shall require new
Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study.
1868 E.
