Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be <br /> modified. <br /> A. The Environmental Health Department requires a soil suitability study indicating that the <br /> area is suitable for septic tank usage. This must be performed prior to recordation of Parcel <br /> Map and/or Certificate of Compliance (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9- <br /> `GY3�I 1105.2(d)). A review fee of S186.00 must-be paid at time of submittal to the Environmental <br /> Health Department. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of <br /> septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal <br /> system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$93.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> /j B. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropropane <br /> }� (DBCP) and nitrates prior to recordation of the Parcel Map and or Certificate of Compliance. <br /> Samples are to be taken and analyzed by a State-approved laboratory(San Joaquin County <br /> /17✓" Development Title, Section 9-1115.7). <br /> C. The well must be repaired under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health <br /> Department (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.4(e)) as follows: <br /> Agricultural discharge pipes utilizing an air gap for back-flow prevention shall maintain <br /> 1 an air gap equal to the size of the discharge pipe, but not less than 6 inches. The <br /> discharge pipe shall also have two 1/4 inch slits extending 6 inches from the bottom of the <br /> ,/✓� pipe and opposite each other or a back-flow device approved by San Joaquin County <br /> must be installed. ha <br /> • Install sanitary seal. <br /> 1/ D. In accordance with the Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report dated March 25,2005, <br /> �►" the applicant shall have trash, 5 gallon bucket of oil and chemical jugs properly disposed of. <br /> Prior to Parcel Map and/or Certificate of Compliance approval. applicant shall provide the <br /> Environmental Health Department with receipts of waste hauler or landfill disposal. <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
