Box 739 <br /> Marssteden 50, 7547 TC Enschede <br /> The Netherlands <br /> Subject: Use of Norit XigaTm and AquafleXTM Membrane/Module <br /> filtration technology to comply with California Water <br /> Recycling Criteria <br /> Dear Mr. Blume: <br /> By letter dated April 30, 2007, a request was submitted by the <br /> Layne Christensen Company on behalf of Norit X-Flow for <br /> Departmental acceptance of the Norit XigaT`" and AquaflexTM <br /> Membrane/Module filtration technology using the SXL-225 FSFC <br /> membrane . As indicated in the letter, the XigaTm and AquafleXTM <br /> Membrane/modules utilize the same membrane as what has <br /> previously been accepted by the Department for compliance with <br /> the Surface water Treatment Rule. This is a PES/PVP hollow <br /> fiber membrane with a nominal pore size of 0 . 025 micron.
