The <br /> following conditions shall be addressed prior to submittal of a building permit application to the <br /> Building Inspection Division : <br /> 1 . A building permit for the proposed carport is required . Submit plans , Specifications and <br /> supporting calculations , prepared by a Registered Design Professional (architect or <br /> engineer) for each structure or building , showing compliance with The 2019 California <br /> Building , Existing Building , Mechanical , Plumbing , Electrical , Energy and Fire Codes as may <br /> be applicable . Plans for the different buildings or structures may be combined into a single <br /> set of construction documents . <br /> 2 . The reduced fire separation distance to 8' will require the proposed building to meet the fire <br /> resistance rating per Table 602 of the California Building code . <br /> 3 . The plan shall include the following project information : <br /> a . Description of proposed use <br /> b . Existing and proposed occupancy Groups <br /> c . Type of construction <br /> d . Sprinklers (Yes or No <br /> e . Number of stories <br /> f. Building height <br /> g . Allowable floor area <br /> h . Proposed floor area <br /> i . Occupant load based on the CBC <br /> j . Occupant load based on the CPC <br /> 4 . Accessible routes shall be provided per CBC § 11 B-206 . At least one accessible <br /> route shall be provided within the site from accessible parking spaces and accessible <br /> passenger loading zones ; public streets and sidewalks ; and public transportation stops to the <br /> accessible building or facility entrance they serve . Where more than one route is provided , <br /> all routes must be accessible . § 11 B- 206 . 2 . 1 <br /> 5 . At least one accessible route shall connect accessible buildings , accessible facilities , <br /> accessible elements and accessible spaces that are on the same site . § 11 B-206 . 2 . 2 <br /> 6 .
