Arata Road, Stockton
APN 101-130-57, SR0081389, PA-1900010
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed the Soil Suitability/Nitrate
Loading (SSNL) Study, dated November, 2019 and submitted on November 12, 2019 for the above noted
location and has the following comments for your consideration.
The SSNL was prepared to determine the suitability of the above noted parcel for onsite wastewater treatment
system (OWTS) usage and the potential impact of nitrate to groundwater for the proposed project
development. The proposed development project includes:
1. A minor subdivision of current parcel 45.4 acres into two proposed parcels each being 22.7 acres.
Currently there are no new improvements being proposed for the site.
2. The OWTS usage for the future development with potential average daily flow of 350 gallons per day
of wastewater for each site.
Based on the information provided, the EHD finds that the SSNL Study supports the suitability for standard
OWTS usage for future development on the proposed parcels, pursuant to San Joaquin County Ordinance
Code Title 9, Section 9-1105.2(d), provided the existing and proposed OWTS and 100% replacement areas
can meet all required minimum setbacks from any water wells.
Any deviation to project development or OWTS usage other than mentioned above shall require new Soil
Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study.
If you have any questions please contact Naseem Ahmed, Registered Environmental Health Specialist,
REHS, at nahmed ov.org or (209) 468-3436.
Micha I Kith, REHS
Program Coordinator
C: Joe Montano- P.O Box 2180- Lodi, CA 95241
1868 E.
