INTERNATIONAL TECHNOLOGY CORPORATION <br /> " Ms. Mar Me <br /> Mary ays 3 November 17, 1997 <br /> Disposal of Generated Wa�t . <br /> The drill cuttings generated during the field activities were collected in a 10 cubic yard bin. <br /> The soil cuttings were then transported under a non-hazardous waste manifest to Forward, <br /> Inc., a Class II landfill located in Manteca, California. The non-hazardous waste manifest is <br /> attached as Appendix B. Water generated during the field activities was contained and <br /> discharged to the water treatment system located within the facility. The well casing from <br /> MW-4 was disposed of with the soil cuttings, and the surface protection for the wells were <br /> recycled. <br /> Healthft <br /> The well abandonment activities were performed in compliance with the site-specific Health <br /> p p <br /> and Safety Plan, dated November 1994 and the Health and Safety Plan Addendum and Update, <br /> dated August 1995. No accidents or incidents occurred during the field activities. <br /> Conclusions <br /> This report completes the well abandonment scope of work requested by PHS/EHD, and the <br /> corrective action for the leaking USTs at this facility.
