(D)
Date: Thursday, November 9, 1995
4. Location: SJCEHD Offices, 304 E. Weber Street, Stockton, CA
rn
M: In reviewing the most recent quarterly monitoring report (QMR), I have the following
comments:
• Please don't put "ND" - rather, please put "cx", with the!*tual detection limit.
i
• Depth to water on field sheet doesn't match depth to water on table, for one well.
also, listed purge vol. seems inadequate.
• Please combine analytical results with depth to water (DTW) and water level (WL)
into a single table.
:t
L: The text addresses this discrepancy. Anomalous water level depths were measured on
August 7, 1995 (which was the basis for groundwater"ampli
sng). The water levels were
re-measured on August 9, 1995. These elevations were used to generate the
potentiometric surface map presented in the QMR.
` NOTE: A summa {
ry of the water elevations measured on August 9, 1995 are attached. Please
add this sheet.to,the QMR, dated_September,1995.
M: As groundwater monitoring now shows .two consecutive uarters of hits, San Joaquin
.} q
County Environmental Health Division (SJCEHD) is now reclassifying the site from soil-
only to soil and groundwater. This will primarily affect e;"closure process. When you
request closure, a Technical Review Committee will review the application. The
committee will include:
• A Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) 'representative (Mr. Gordon
Boggs); ;E
• A registered geologist (RG) from SJCEHD;
MZ/11-10-95NDBF195-0041 1
