CALIFORNIA REGIONAL WATER QUALITY CONTROL BOARD <br /> CENTRAL VALLEY REGION <br /> REVISED <br /> MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM NO. 92-803 <br /> FOR <br /> BP OIL COMPANY <br /> STOCKTON FACILITY <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> Specific sample station locations are established under direction of the Board's staff. <br /> Prior to construction, plans and specifications for ground water monitoring and/or extraction <br /> wells shall be submitted to Board staff for review and approval. After construction. new <br /> wells are to be sampled and analyzed for the constituents below and added to the monitoring <br /> program. <br /> GROUND WATER MONITORD G <br /> There are nine monitoring wells (MWs) on-site as shown in Figure 1. The ground water <br /> monitoring program for the nine monitoring wells and any additional wells installed <br /> subsequently, shall include the following: <br /> Sampling <br /> Constituents Units Type of Sample Frequencyl <br /> Depth to ground Feet ---- Quarterly <br /> water <br /> Benzene it g/1 Grab Quarterly <br /> Toluene µg/1 Grab Quarterly <br /> Ethylbenze ne 1,4 g/1 Grab Quarterly <br /> Xylene it g/1 Grab Quarterly <br /> TPH as diesel µg/1 Grab Quarterly <br /> TPH as gasoline u g/1 Grab Quarterly <br /> Total Lead' µg/1 Grab <br /> ' MWs 5 and 6 shall be sampled during the first and third quarters only. <br /> From wells which have not been monitored for total lead. If total lead is <br /> detected, the Discharger shall perform verification sampling within 30 days of <br /> submittal of the monitoring report. If the presence of total lead is not <br /> confirmed, no further test is required. If pollution is verified, the Discharger <br /> shall continue quarterly monitoring for total lead. <br />
