However, <br /> the following items need to be addressed: <br /> l. The SPCC plan needs to be organized. It needs a table Of contents, <br /> pagination, appendices, attachments, current maps, etc. <br /> 2. The d00uOt Of wastewater generated, capacity for wastewater storage, and <br /> wastewater disposal method must be Clarified. <br /> 3. Design specifications used in constructing drainage and wastewater <br /> facilities must be delineated to demonstrate the adequacy of these <br /> facilities. <br /> 4' Visual inspection of storm water in the tank farm prior to discharge to <br /> land is inadequate to protect ground water or surface water quality, At <br /> (a minimum, the �1orm water must ba t�sted using U. 5. L. Method 6O2 <br /> prior to discharge. If constituents are present then the storm water <br /> will need be treated to 08St water quality objectives and you will need <br /> to obtain an NPDES Storm Water permit prior to discharge. Other <br /> alternatives for handling contaminated storm water include hauling it <br /> offsite for treatment and disposal Or discharge to the sewer. <br /> 5. Due to the types Of products /16 degrees API or lighter) Stored at the <br /> facility, a ground water monitoring program is required in accordance <br /> with Section 25270,7/c\ of the APSA. <br /> b, Items 13. 15, 26, 29, 32, 33, 34, 37. 50, and 52 Of the SPCC checklist. <br /> We request that you submit d report which addresses the above items by <br /> 24 April 1992. The report shall include d DldO and time schedule for <br /> implementation of the monitoring program. <br />
