Alameda Avenue
Burbank, CA 91505-4331
MOBIL OIL STOCKTON TERMINAL, ROUGH AND READY ISLAND, SAN JOAQUIN
COUNTY
The full extent of ground water contamination at this site is
potentially much greater than your consultant's report indicates.
More work is needed to determine the effects of past disposal
practices, and leakage from the underground tank removed from
inside the tank farm.
The results of analyses from the three wells installed at the
site show contamination occurs in a limited area close to the
vapor drop-out tank. However, further monitoring and analysis,
as well as further monitoring well installation is needed to
confirm there has been such a limited impact on ground water.
Please reply to the attached comments by 30 November 1987 .
