All drilling equipment, pipe, and mater_als coming in contact jith tt-e borenole material aill be decontaminated before use according to the procedures described in Section 5.0. All sampling equipment will be decontaminated prior to sampling following these same procedures. Soil samples will be collected as monitor-, ng well drilling progresses All do4nrole drilling equipment will be decontaminated prior to use and bet.4een use for each well according to the procedures described in Section 6.0. All well construction material, including well casing, screen, and cell caps, will be decontaminated prior to installation by stea- claan.Lng according to the procedures described in Sectlon 6.0. To prevent the transfer of surface coatamination to a well, a Portland cement and bentonite surface seal will be installed in conformance •-ith regulatory requirements. The casing will be fitted with a water tight locking cap. No solvent or 4lue will be used in well construction. The wellhead will be contained below grade in a water-tight traffic rated box or otherwise protected from damage. In order to assure that groundwater samples are obtained from formation material and not from the filter pack, wells will be purged in accordance with the appended Well Development Protocol. Samples will be placed in laboratory prepared containers appropriate for the analyses specified as indicated on Table 1. • rt_
