i <br /> Geological Technics 19ce <br /> ' <br /> 1101 7`b SUMt <br /> Modesto,Cahfomsa 95354 <br /> (209)522-41191 Fax(209)522-4227 <br /> 1 <br /> ' REPORT <br /> Groundwater Monitoring <br /> 4`h Quarter 2004 <br /> Valley Wholesale Drug Co., Inc. <br /> 1401 W.Fremont Street <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Project No 989 2 <br /> November 18, 2004 <br /> 1 <br /> EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> This report summarizes the 4`h Quarter 2004 groundwater monitoring work that took place at <br /> ' Valley Wholesale Drug Company on October 13, 2004 <br /> ' The average groundwater elevation decreased by approximately 0 69 feet since the July 2004 <br /> monitoring event The groundwater elevation is consistent with previously recorded <br /> groundwater elevations at the site Site-specific groundwater gradients were calculated and <br /> indicate a bearing of N44°W with a slope of 0 0039 ft/ft Groundwater flow bearing and <br /> slope have remained relatively consistent since August of 1995 <br /> ' Laboratory analysis of the groundwater samples collected during the October 2004 <br /> monitoring event show the presence of BTEX and TPH-G in MW-1 BTEX and TPH-G was <br /> below detectable linuts in all remaining monitoring wells Seven of the site's nine shallow <br /> ' groundwater-monitoring wells showed the presence of MtBE Monitoring wells MW-2, <br /> MW-3 and MW-101 were non-detect above laboratory reporting limits for all analyzed <br /> constituents <br /> ' AP lot of TPH-G concentrations versus groundwater elevation for MW-1 indicates that the <br /> concentrations of TPH-G fluctuate with groundwater elevation and that the overall TPH-G <br /> ' concentration has decreased significantly in the past seven years of monitoring (Chart 1), A <br /> plot of MtBE concentrations versus groundwater elevation for MW-6 indicates that the <br /> 1 <br />
