Sunland Gasoline March l4, 2000
208S Fremont Street, Stockton, California Page S
Il. Report of Findings, Site Characterization
The oxygenates Di-isopropyl Ether (D1PE), Ethyl tertiary-Butyl Ether (ETBE) and
tertiary-Amyl Methyl Ether (TAME) were not detected in any sample above the
reporting limits. The reporting limits were elevated due to the high levels of
j contaminates present in the samples, therefore it is possible that these constituents
exist in the soils underlying the site at levels below the minimum detectable levels
set by the laboratory.
i
I
4. 2 Boring B-2 - Soil Analytical Data
' The laboratory data from B-2 indicate that a low level of soil contamination exists
in the vicinity of boring B-2. TPH-G contamination is present throughout the soil
column. Benzene contamination is only found in the 30' sample. MTBE is only
found in the 25 ' and 30' samples. No other oxygenates were identified by
' laboratory analysis. Table 2 provides a summary of the laboratory analytical data
for B-2. The laboratory data and Chain of Custody Reports can be found in
Appendix C.
Table 2 : B-2 Soil Analytical Data
FT(@j
TPH G Benzene Toluene E Benzene Xylenes MTBE
330, ,. During the water sample collection process, the water in the
boring rose to approximately forty-seven feet (47') b.g.l. The water sample did
not contain any oxygenates except MTBE. A summary of the analytical findings is
' presented in Table 3 .
1
