bearing zone and intermediate groundwater bearing zone are shown on Figures 11 and 12,
respectively.
' The lateral extent of petroleum impactedroundwater in the shallow
g zone appears to extend to
the general vicinity of MW9 and MW 10 towards the south and west, respectively. The lateral
' extent of petroleum impacted groundwater in the shallow zone to the north and east is undefined.
The lateral extent of petroleum impacted groundwater in the intermediate zone is not well
defined. The vertical extent of impacted groundwater extends to at least 90 feet bgs.
Field observations associated with MW7 indicate the potential presence of a bend in the well
casing at approximately 64 to 65 feet bgs that prevents descent of standard sized well
development equipment. Subsequent well development efforts using smaller equipment were
successful and will be discussed in a forthcoming report. MW11 was destroyed and replaced. The
' well destruction and replacement activities will be discussed in a forthcoming report.
1
1
1
S:1Gnviromental1283491reportslsum.doe 6 ATC Associates Inc.
