I <br /> Quik Stop is currently investigating groundwater conditions at and amend its Market#39, <br /> tacatcd at 2285`East Fremont street. San Joaquin County Public Health Services, <br /> h Environmental Health Division,has approved a work plan to define the lateral and <br /> vertical extent of gmtaidwater contamination associated with Quik Stop's underground <br /> storage tanks. The work plan includes a proposed Monitoring well to be placed in or near <br /> the parking lot at the southwest corder of your property, The well will be 2-inch inside . <br /> diameter casing in an 8-inch diameter boning extending to 60 feet total depth, Upon <br /> completion,the well will be flush with the surface in a r,ecure traffic rated vault. All drill <br /> cuttings and equipment will be removed from the site upon completion and the area <br /> around the well will be retui aed to its original condition. Drilling activity is anticipated <br /> to take one or two days to complete. <br /> An access agreement is necessary for the purpose of installing the monitoring well, <br /> periodic gauging, sampling,inspectioa,maintenance,and eventual removal of the <br /> monitoring well. Onrte the well is installed and initial groundwater samples taken, <br /> routine sampling of the monitoring well is expected to be required once each quarter. <br /> Drilling and sampling phases are not expected to interfere with church activities, <br />
