Fremont Street in Stockton (Quik Stop Market#39), San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) staff discovered that your <br /> company destroyed and removed vadose/subsurface air monitoring wells located in the UST <br /> pit without a well destruction permit. This is in violation of San Joaquin County Ordinance <br /> r Code Section 9-1115.3 (copies enclosed) which require obtaining a permit from PHS- <br /> ' EHD prior to destroying a well and Section 9-1115.6 which authorized the adoption of <br /> well standards. <br /> f <br /> In order to discuss the above noted violations PHS-EHD has scheduled a meeting for <br /> December 8 1998, at 10 a.m. in Room 307, at 304 E_ Weber Street,Third Floor, Stockton. <br /> Failure to appear or to respond to this meeting date may result in a referral to the San <br /> Joaquin County District Attorney's office for enforcement action.
